This foam form is then wrapped entirely in the same gold velvet fabric used for the lid lining, adhered flat on the long panels and hand-folded at the support profiles so the fabric follows the bottle-contact surfaces without bunching at the curves. The result is an insert that functions as a jewellery tray — the bottle rests in gold fabric on both sides of its contact points, and the visible channel between the two supports is itself lined in gold velvet. When the box is opened and the bottle is inside, the entire interior — lid, walls, and cradle — presents as a single unified field of warm gold, with the bottle appearing to float within it.
